A busy month for Charlie

Monday 30th March   •   2009

At Silverstone on 29th March, the 2009 Ma5da MX5 championship got underway. The weather conditions were changeable to say the least; seeing everything from rain, wind and hail to bright sunshine. Inevitably that made race setups difficult to call for the teams and resulted in tricky track conditions for the drivers.

“The racing was action packed at Silverstone and I really can’t wait for Cadwell Park next month. The Ma5da paddock has a great atmosphere and everyone seems to really enjoy themselves which is a testament to the organisers. After such a great start to the season I’m sure the Ma5da’s are going to provide us all with some thrilling racing in the season ahead!”

The Ma5da MX5 Championship will air on FIVE on the 15th April (times TBC) and Motors TV (Sky 413) on the 17th April at 9.30pm.

Charlie was back filming at Max TV this week.

“we have just filmed some brand new edits amongst which are some incredible sale offers… so tune in to SKY 675 to grab a gadgety bargain this month!”

Damage Limitation Charity Event

On the 14th March, Charlie attended The Damage Limitation recording session in Birmingham. This charity project is the labour of love of Robin George, a successful songwriter, producer and musician (and even more importantly Charlie’s Dad). Charlie was invited to interview the stars and present a behind the scenes programme about the recording of the charity CD which will be released on Damage Control music later in the year.

The day was a great success and the turn out was impressive, Charlie was thrilled to meet and interview such musical legends as Jaki Graham, Daniel Boone and Andy Pike from Marshall law.

“I hope that the CD raises lots of money for the charities involved, it was great to see so many musicians taking time from their busy schedules to help out. Thanks to my Dad, music is a big part of my life so to be invited to be part of this event and interview so many inspiring musicians was great”

Studio 11

Charlie is also thrilled to announce that she has been selected to host Studio 11, a six part magazine show which explores the best entertainment, events and music from the Midlands. Filming begins in April, so watch this space for more information.
